Prepare yourself, wanderer, as Diablo IV gold the second Public Test Realm (PTR) for Diablo IV approaches! From June 25 to July 2, players with a PC Battle.net account can dive into the latest features and changes slated for Season 5. Your participation will be crucial in shaping the final experience of the new season.

What’s New in Season 5?
Uncover the New Narrative:
Season 5 introduces a gripping storyline with shifting alliances, new threats, and unexpected allies. Engage in a fresh Questline that follows the Main Questline, accessible on both Seasonal and Eternal Realms. This Questline will remain available on the Eternal Realm after Season 5 ends.
Getting Started:
1. New Questline:
   - Location: Hawezar, World Tier III
   - Objective:Investigate a disturbance among the cityfolk.
   - Unlock:Completing this Questline grants access to the Infernal Hordes. Note that this quest only needs to be completed once per account.
2. Infernal Hordes:
   - Activity:Battle through relentless waves of Hell’s minions in the Realm of Hatred. The Infernal Hordes grow increasingly formidable as time progresses.
   - Access:Use an Infernal Compass to enter the Realm of Hatred. Obtain Hell Compasses by defeating Endgame Bosses, participating in Helltides, Nightmare Dungeons, and Whispers. You’ll also receive a Hell Compass after finishing the latest Eternal quest.
   - Gameplay: Engage in 90-second waves, collecting Burning Aether to use at the end of each successful Infernal run. After each wave, you’ll choose from three Infernal Offers that influence the next wave's difficulty and rewards.
   - Objective:Complete all waves in your Tier to face the Fell Council in the Well of Hatred. Defeating the Fell Council allows you to use Burning Aether to claim Spoils of Hell.
Infernal Offers:
   - Modifiers: Each Infernal Offer provides a choice of Boons and Banes that alter your run. Examples include increased elite damage or higher Burning Aether rewards. Offers stack and can be active simultaneously, so strategize carefully.
Burning Aether:
   - Earning: Gain Burning Aether by defeating Aether Fiends, Aether Lords, and destroying Soulspires and Aetheric Masses. This currency is collected individually, allowing flexibility whether you play solo or in a group.
   - Usage:Spend Burning Aether at the end of your run to unlock various Spoils of Hell.
Spoils of Hell:
   - Spoils of Equipment
   - Spoils of Materials
   - Spoils of Gold
   - Spoils of Greater Equipment(guarantees an item with a Greater Affix)
Treasure Goblin Enhancements:
- Loot Quality: Treasure Goblins now drop 1-3 Legendary Items and 2-6 Rare Items. The number of Legendary Items affects the number of Rare Items dropped, and vice versa.
- Additional Drops:Treasure Goblins now also drop 1-2 Elixirs and are guaranteed to drop Common Ore, Herbs, Leather, and Gem Fragments.
- Gold Drops:Increased amounts of Gold:
  - Level 1 in World Tier I: 40k Gold
  - Level 100 in World Tier IV: 150k Gold
- Additional Rewards:In World Tiers III and IV, Treasure Goblins drop Forgotten Souls. They also have a 10/20/30% chance to drop 1-2 Scattered Prisms in World Tiers I/II, III, and IV respectively.
