U4GM Pokemon TCG Pocket: All Secret Missions Guide

Secret missions in Pokémon TCG Pocket are the kind of thing you don't really notice until your collection starts filling out, then suddenly they become the whole point of opening packs. Some players chase them slowly, while others use stronger collections or Pokemon TCG Pocket Accounts to get closer to the cards they're missing. Either way, these missions aren't just simple checklists. They push you toward certain artwork cards, full sets, and rare pulls that can take a fair bit of patience.

Genetic Apex missions

The biggest Genetic Apex secret mission is the Kanto Pokédex task. You need at least one version of every original Gen 1 Pokémon card, from Bulbasaur through Mewtwo, with promo cards left out of the count. Once you finish that long grind, the reward is Mew, which makes it one of the most talked-about hidden goals in the game. Genetic Apex also has three Museum missions. The Charizard-themed one asks for full-art Alakazam, Charmander, Gloom, Lapras, Meowth, Pinsir, Rapidash, and Slowpoke. The Mewtwo set covers Bulbasaur, Cubone, Ditto, Dragonite, Golbat, Pidgeot, Porygon, and Weezing. The Pikachu set includes Diglett, Electrode, Eevee, Gyarados, Nidoking, Nidoqueen, Snorlax, and Squirtle. Each Museum mission pays out Pack Hourglasses, Wonder Hourglasses, and Shop Tickets.

Mythical Island goals

Mythical Island keeps the same collector-focused feel, but it leans harder into specific expansion cards. The first Museum mission asks you to gather selected cards from the set, with useful in-game items as the reward. The more exciting one is Tale of Adventure, which is built around Mew. You need the Mew ex cards introduced in Mythical Island, including the normal Mew and the rarer Mew ex versions. Most players will get there through pack openings, trading in pack points, or a mix of both. The gold Mew ex is the real wall here, though. Its pull rate is tiny, around 0.040%, so it's not something you should expect to see quickly.

Space-Time Smackdown challenges

Space-Time Smackdown spreads its secret missions across several Museum tasks. There are four Museum missions, and each one focuses on certain Illustration Rare or Special Illustration Rare cards from the expansion. These missions feel less like filling a normal set and more like hunting showcase pieces. That's why players often track their progress card by card instead of just opening packs without a plan. The larger mission, Champion of the Sinnoh Region, asks for all Illustration Rare and Special Illustration Rare cards in the set. It's a serious collector badge, and it usually takes time, luck, and a bit of discipline with resources.

Triumphant Light targets

Triumphant Light follows with three Museum missions of its own, each tied to chosen cards from the expansion. The rewards are mainly in-game items, but the real appeal is clearing another hidden page of progress. Then there's Pokémon from Ancient Records, which asks players to collect every card from Triumphant Light. That's a full-set goal, so it can be rough if you're missing one stubborn card. Many players compare lists, save pack points, or even look to buy Pokemon TCG Pocket Accounts when they want a head start, but the fun still comes from watching those last empty slots disappear one by one.
