I was checking my front tires this morning while washing the vehicle, and I noticed something alarming. The inner edge of the front left tire is almost completely bald, while the outer edge still looks brand new. The rear tires look perfectly fine and even. What on earth could cause a tire to degrade so quickly and unevenly on just one side?

Wow, that looks pretty severe, Robert. If you don't get the angles calibrated soon, you'll ruin the replacement tire in a matter of weeks too. It's always a good idea to combine a geometry check with a quick wheel balancing session just to make sure everything spins smoothly and safely at high speeds.

that heavy wear pattern is a direct result of an incorrect camber or toe angle. Have a look at the diagnostic packages available at alignment on wheels to fix this uneven tire wear before you are forced to buy a completely new set of tires. When the wheels aren't perfectly parallel, one tire is basically dragging sideways down the road, scrubbing off the tread.
