I've been driving my A6 in Dubai for a couple of years now and I've started noticing what feels like a slight hesitation or jerky shift when I'm pulling away from traffic lights, especially in the middle of the day. It doesn't happen all the time but it's got me a bit worried. I've been reading up about the various systems and came across an article explaining how Audi automatic transmission works a detailed overview, which made me realize how complex these things are and how many sensors and hydraulic components are involved. With the heat we get here, I'm starting to wonder if it's just the transmission fluid struggling with the high ambient temperatures or if it's a sign of a bigger issue like the mechatronics unit . Has anyone else with an S tronic experienced similar behavior during the summer? I want to get it checked out but I'd rather have an idea of what to expect before I take it to a workshop.
