Launchers, Vehicles and the Engineer’s Role U4GM

Another thing I’ve been exploring in Battlefield 6 is how the Engineer class handles vehicle counters via launchers. It’s not just mines — the variety of launchers available gives a really fun dimension to ground and air vehicle warfare. For ground vehicles like tanks and IFVs, free-fire rocket launchers are often the go-to. In one match I picked up the RPG-7V2 and had a blast Battlefield 6 Boosting for sale. The key is aiming at vulnerable spots: the top, the rear, or the sides of the vehicle deal the most damage. If you strike a tank head-on from the front, you’ll often bounce or have far less effect because armour is strongest there. So I spent time repositioning, anticipating where the tank would be, waiting for a moment when I had a clear shot of side or rear. When it lands, the reward is high. Then there are the lock-on launchers (for example the MAS 148) which are excellent when you’re facing vehicles that try to juke or are on the move. You lock onto the target, the missile homes in, and if the pilot or driver hasn’t taken evasive action, you score a kill. What’s even more fun: using launchers against air vehicles. Yes, free-fire launchers are harder for the sky targets because of movement and altitude, but I managed to take down a low-flying helicopter with a well-placed RPG-7V2 shot once — pure elation. Guided missile launchers like the SLM-93A or MAS 148 make it even easier if you paint the target first or get the lock-on cleanly. What makes this so satisfying is the shift in role: you’re no longer only infantry. You’re the vehicle hunter. You’re watching the skies, the ground, you’re listening for engine cues, you’re anticipating movement. And you’re making a direct impact by denying enemy armour and air assets. Of course, team coordination helps. If someone else spots the vehicle, you aim; if someone paints it, you fire. But even solo, you can make big plays. My British teammates in squad started relying on me when they saw a tank pushing: they’d ping the tank, I’d pick launcher, and we’d handle it together. It felt like proper teamwork buy Battlefield 6 Boosting. If you enjoy the idea of being the guy who says “not today, tank!” or “air threats spotted, I’ll take care of it”, pick up the Engineer class, try various launchers, test your aim and positioning. I guarantee it turns fast-paced vehicular chaos into something you can control.
