Hey everyone,
I was researching Mudskipper plumbing and found it quite interesting for construction projects, especially in areas with expansive soil.
The Mudskipper system is designed to isolate plumbing under slab foundations, which helps prevent damage caused by soil movement. Instead of burying pipes directly in soil, the system suspends them in a void space so they don’t come in contact with shifting ground.
It basically uses a temporary support setup during construction, and once the concrete is poured, the plumbing remains isolated and protected. This approach also aligns with newer plumbing code requirements that emphasize keeping pipes away from active soil zones.
Overall, it seems like a smart solution to reduce pipe damage, leaks, and long-term maintenance issues.
