There are three ways to close a Chase Bank account, including ending the physical visit to the branch, calling the customer service, or using a secure online messaging. At closure in person, one should produce identification, and then affirm the closure. If you close by the phone then a representative will verify your identity before engaging in the actual closing. Make sure that all the transactions in the account have gone through and move any balance to another account before applying for a closure. Remember that there are always some pending balance that should be paid, or an overdraft that needs explanation before the company can close your account.
