Displaying games on mobile devices?

Quick question for the hardcore mobile gamers here. I’ve noticed that when I use dedicated gaming hubs, my device seems to run cooler and the frames are more stable compared to just launching the APK directly. Is this just a placebo effect, or is there some actual low-level optimization happening behind the scenes? I’d love to read a professional take on how these hubs interact with the hardware to prioritize gaming performance over background syncs. Does anyone have a link or a study that covers why the mobile experience specifically needs this kind of dedicated environment?

I always launch games through a gaming hub, and my phone runs cooler and lags less after long sessions. I think they're really optimizing something in the background, because the difference is noticeable in more than just one game. Once you've invested in your account, the last thing you want is for everything to freeze at the most inopportune moment.
