Thinking about buying a villa in Dubai

I've been wanting to buy property in Dubai and move there for a long time. The place has this modern feel to it, everything's reasonably priced, and you've got the sea right there. I always figured housing prices were pretty steep though, especially for villas. But it looks like the market's shifted and prices have dropped quite a bit from last year. Seems like a good window to pull the trigger on a villa. Where can I look at what's out there?

Fair point, things are a bit rocky over there right now, but I don't think it'll drag on. Property prices have taken a real hit because of everything going on though. If you've had your eye on a villa there, now's probably the best time to move on it. I'd bet prices bounce back within six months. Honestly, I'd just fly out there and see what's actually available and what it's going for. Photos online are one thing, seeing it in person is a whole different story.
