How to secure crypto from an old drive?

I dug up an old hard drive from college and found a wallet file with a chunk of bitcoin from years ago. The market is dumping right now and I just want to secure this value into USDT before it crashes further. My old exchange accounts are long gone and creating a brand new profile takes forever with all the mandatory document uploads. I've got zero desire to hand over my driver's license to random companies just to cash out a lucky find. Does anyone know how to convert coins without all the identity checks?
