One thing I've noticed over the years is how much the whole setup around developmental supports in PA keeps shifting with different rules and funding changes popping up every so often. Back when my neighbor first started getting involved around a decade ago, everything felt way more rigid and paper-heavy compared to now, where there's at least more talk about person-centered planning and actual choice in daily routines. It's kind of wild to see how the emphasis on independence has grown louder in conversations, even if the reality on the ground still varies a ton depending on where you live and who's coordinating things.
