U4GM Arc Raiders Dust on the Wires Tips to Finish It Fast

Plenty of players hit a wall with Dust on the Wires not because the fights are too hard, but because one bad death wipes the whole run. That's what makes this Shani mission rough. You can't chip away at it over several drops. It all has to happen in a single deployment, and that changes how you should approach the Spaceport. Before you even load in, it helps to think less about loot and more about survival, route choice, and keeping room in your inventory for key ARC Raiders Items you really can't afford to fumble later.

Start at the Field Depot

Your first stop should be the east side of Spaceport. You're looking for a Field Depot, which is usually easy enough to spot thanks to the antenna stuck on top. Get inside, find the field radio terminal, and interact with it. That part's simple, but don't hang around after. The terminal sends the scout patrol's last report to Shani and pushes the investigation forward. A lot of people relax here because it feels like the quest has finally started, then get jumped on the way out. Best move is to get in, use the terminal, and move.

Cross to the Raider Tower

Step two sends you west, toward the Maintenance Hangar. Just north of that area, you'll find an old Raider Tower. You need to climb it, which is where things can get messy. Towers are obvious landmarks, and obvious landmarks attract attention. If you hear movement, wait a second. No need to sprint straight up into someone's sights. Once you reach the top, use the terminal there and grab the updated coordinates. That's the moment the patrol's route starts to make sense, and it points you toward the spot where things went wrong.

Follow the trail and grab the note

Head back down, then swing around to the southwest side of the Maintenance Hangar. Near the road, you'll notice signs that something bad happened. Overturned carts, scattered debris, a bit of visual chaos. Interact with the trace there to transmit the location. After that, stay on the same road and move only a little farther. You'll find the scouts' remains near a barrel and some tarps, and that's where the Scout Patrol Note is waiting. Pick it up straight away. If you've got a safe pocket augment, use it now, not later. People always think they'll do it after the next corner, and then they're back in the hub wondering why they didn't.

Leave fast and don't get greedy

Once the note is in your hands, the mission is basically over on paper, but this is the point where runs fall apart. Don't start looting nearby containers. Don't chase shots. Just head for the closest extraction or elevator and get out clean. After you return to Speranza, hand the note to Shani to finish the quest and claim the reward. It's a nice little step forward in her storyline, but the real win is not having to repeat the whole thing. If you treat the final stretch like escorting your own life back to base, and keep your focus on staying alive instead of grabbing extra ARC Raiders gear along the way, this mission becomes a lot more manageable.
