Outdoor Video Wall Best Setup Tips for Large Outdoor Events

Has anyone here used an outdoor video wall for concerts, festivals, sports screenings, or corporate events?

I’m researching options for an upcoming outdoor event and trying to understand what works best in terms of screen brightness, weather resistance, and viewing quality during daylight. A lot of providers mention IP65-rated LED walls, which seem important for handling dust and rain during outdoor setups.

From what I’ve seen, outdoor video walls are great for live feeds, branding, presentations, and audience engagement because they stay visible even in bright sunlight and large open spaces.

Would love to hear:

    • What screen size worked best for your event?
    • Did weather affect performance at all?
    • Any recommendations for reliable outdoor LED wall providers or setup tips?

Looking forward to hearing real experiences from the community.

Great questions about outdoor video walls, brightness and weather resistance are definitely key for large events. From my experience, IP65-rated LED walls hold up well against rain and dust, and a screen size of around 20 to 30 feet wide works great for audiences up to 500 people. Direct sunlight can still be a challenge, so look for screens with at least 5,000 nits. On a different note, if you ever need creative visuals or branded content to display on your video wall, I recently came across a site with stunning handcrafted glass art and decor, you can view here for inspiration on high-quality visual presentation. Good luck with your outdoor event setup!
