Diablo 4 Season of Death Awakening: U4GM Update

Diablo 4 Season 14, called Season of Death Awakening, lands worldwide on June 30, 2026, and the rollout is the same moment everywhere, just shown in local time. If you're planning your first night around gear, alts, or a fresh grind for D4 Gold, the launch hits at 10:00 AM PDT and 1:00 PM EDT, so most players will want to log in a little early and get their stash sorted.

When does Diablo 4 Season 14 actually start for my region?

The short version is that Season 14 begins on June 30 in North America and rolls into July 1 across much of Asia and Oceania. That means if you're on the west coast of the U.S., you're in at 10:00 AM. In London, it's 6:00 PM. In Central Europe, it's 7:00 PM. Japan and Korea won't see it until 2:00 AM on July 1, and New Zealand gets it at 5:00 AM. Blizzard is keeping the release tied to one global clock, so nobody gets an early edge just because of location.

The timing matters because the first few hours usually set the tone. Players rush the seasonal quest, check the new activity, and try to figure out what's worth farming first. This season also arrives with patch 3.1.0, which brings the new storyline, Pandemonium Ruptures, a fresh monster family called The Risen, a Seasonal Lair Boss near Zarbinzet, Solo Self Found mode, and changes to Mythic Uniques. Leaderboards won't open right away, though. They're set for July 2, which gives everyone a couple of days to level and gear up before the race starts.

What should players expect from Season of Death Awakening once they get in?

You'll feel the season's new loop pretty fast. The first quest, A Gospel of Despair, starts in Kyovashad and pushes you into a story about a Death Cult showing up in Zarbinzet. From there, the big draw is Pandemonium Ruptures. They're open-world events where you clear ritual devotees, open a rupture, then stay inside the marked circle while killing The Risen to build progress. It's a simple idea, but it makes movement matter. If you drift out of the zone, you're wasting time.

There's also a solo side to the season that a lot of players will probably like. Deathtoll Chambers are only completed alone, even if other people help with the Realmwalker outside. That makes the reward loop feel a bit more personal, and Solo Self Found fits that style too. On top of that, Mythic item rules are being reworked, so item hunting may feel less like chasing one perfect drop and more like building around new modifiers. If you're the kind of player who likes to prep early, this is also the sort of season where having D4 Gold for sale on hand can make the first days feel smoother, especially when upgrades start piling up fast.
